David A. Schulenberg
David grew up in Northern Kentucky and has lived here most of his life. He earned his undergraduate degree in History and Entrepreneurship from Northern Kentucky University, and went on to earn his law degree (“JD”) from Salmon P. Chase College of Law in 2011. While at Chase, David worked for the City of Covington’s legal department, as well as a private law firm in Covington, and also served as a research assistant to Professor Roger D. Billings.
After law school, David began his legal career with a small law firm in Northern Kentucky, with a broad litigation practice focusing mostly on insurance defense in the areas of workers’ compensation and personal injury.
David joined RBCDS in 2016. His practice continues to focus on general litigation, with an emphasis on helping injured Kentuckians in workers’ compensation and personal injury cases. David is also passionate about entrepreneurship and enjoys helping small business owners in a broad range of legal matters.
David is a member of the Kentucky Bar Association (KBA) and the Northern Kentucky Bar Association (NKBA). He is licensed to practice law in the state courts throughout the Commonwealth of Kentucky, as well as both U.S. District and Bankruptcy Courts in the Eastern District of Kentucky. He has served as a volunteer lawyer for Legal Aid of the Bluegrass, and has served in various roles with local non-profit organizations over the years.
David continues to live in Northern Kentucky with his family, including his two young children. He enjoys all kinds of outdoor activities, and is an avid runner and backpacker.
